So not fair. I’ve been terrifying children with my “Santa is a vampire” story since the early 90′s. However, that aside, I must take issue with one of your contentions. Vampires cannot enter homes to which they have not been invited, period. So sneaking in through the chimney does not actually contravene this “rule.” However, there is a reason fro the milk and cookies left out for Santa. These are an implicit invitation to enter and partake of the home’s bounty. After all, what little kid ISN’T going to issue Santa an invitation to enter? But since Santa doesn’t knock on the door another way must be found to assure him that his entry is desired. Hence, the friendly milk and cookies.

In the vampire diaries, the mention that the oldest and strongest vampire is “Claus”. Naturally, I took that as a hint to smarter viewers and Googled “Santa Claus is a vampire” and found this site.
